日本も含んでます(ジェレミー・グランサム)

前回取り上げたグランサムが、少し前のMarketWatchのインタビュー(9月21日)で優良銘柄(=ブルーチップ)を推薦していたので引用します。最近のUS市場ではグローバル企業の多くが割安で、ほかのバリュー・ファンド・マネージャーも同じような発言をしています。(日本語は拙訳)

同氏曰く「アメリカの株式市場はまた下げ相場になり、何年間かは低水準の株価が続くかもしれません。その間のアメリカ経済の成長率は、もっと順調なときのような3.4%というわけにはいかず、2%ぐらいに低迷するのではないでしょうか」

同氏が購入を勧める株は、GMOファンドの投資方針と同じように、贅沢品ではなく生活必需品を扱っている好財務な企業です。特に、新興国市場で配当を出している企業が狙い目とのことです。彼が言うには「新興国、欧州、豪州、東アジアの中から買いたいですね。日本も含んでますよ」

He said he expects another leg down for the U.S. stock market, one where shares could stay low-priced for years while U.S. economic growth plods along at maybe 2% annually instead of the relatively more robust historical average of around 3.4%.

Grantham advised taking a page from GMO and buying shares in companies with strong finances and which produce goods that people need, as opposed to luxury items. Look for dividend-paying opportunities in emerging markets especially. “I would own emerging and EAFE (the MSCI Europe, Australasia, and Far East Index), including Japan,” Grantham said.
